When the Thomas Fire erupted in upper Ojai, California, the founding team of a better-for-you alcohol company gathered at their property in awe of nature’s fury, while firefighters protected the region with remarkable skill, bravery, and determination.

This experience inspired the name, Flying Embers, and moved the founders to dedicate themselves to support the people who risk everything to sustain their communities and natural surroundings for future generations.

EVERY SALE SUPPORTS OUR MISSION

Since its very first sale, Flying Embers has committed 1% of net sales to these causes. The company formalized this purpose in 2022 by establishing the Embers Foundation as a 501c3 – enabling this new charitable organization to grow its programs in support of the mission it was founded to accomplish. This commitment has allowed us to fund more than 25 projects over the past four years and now covers all of our organizational overhead. As a result, the Embers Foundation is able to invest 100% of all other tax deductible donations into executing our programs.
